Orange Legal Technologies was formed in 2008 by building on the growth and success of the Litigation Document Group founded in 1995 by Orange Legal Technologies’ CEO and President, Bret Laughlin.   Through the acquisition of assets, expertise, and technology in early 2008, Orange Legal Technologies became one of the leading providers of litigation, audit, and investigation support services for law firms and corporations with local, domestic, or international requirements.

In mid 2008, Orange Legal Technologies completed the development of an integrated, web-accessible electronic discovery platform that enables online analysis, processing, and review of unstructured data from the security of a hosted centralized repository.    Delivered under a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, this new technology provides Orange Legal Technologies with the ability to meet client needs with both in-house and best-of-breed partnership services.
